This was the 12th annual “Let Um Ring Classic. The weather was windy and cold but we all made it through it. There were 15 horseshoe pitchers that participate in the tournament. There were four classes: A, B, C, D.
In Class-A the top 3 finishers were: Glen Barlow, Kirk Adams and James Porter. Glen Barlow went undefeated (6-0) and a 67.92%.
In Class-B the top 3 finishers were: Elvis Blunt Sr, Ronald Altizer and Bobby Evans Sr. Elvis Blunt Sr went undefeated (6-0) and a 29.58%.
In Class-C the top 3 finishers were: Gary Martin, Bill Maitland and Veronica Jackson. Gary Martin went undefeated (6-0) and a 24.17%.
All of the class champions went undefeated!!.
In Class-A, Glen Barlow pitched a high games of 30 ringers out of 40 shoes (75%) and another game of 29 ringers out of 40 shoes (72%). Congrats Glen, that’s was some real good pitching!
We are looking forward next year and seeing you all on the courts soon.
