Robert Snowden “Let Um Ring “CLASSIC

The 2014 “ Robert Snowden Let Um Ring Classic” was a great day for pitching horseshoes. The turn out was very low. This was a rescheduled tournament that was cancel due to rain on March 26, 2014 the first tournament of the year.

There were 9 pitchers came out and participated in the tournament. We had 3 classes with three pitchers in each class. In Class-A, Kirk Adams finished 1st place with a 43.13%, Charles Hansen 2nd place with 35.63% and Veronica Jackson 3rd Place with 20.63%.

In Class-B Scott Fencil 1st Place with 27.50%, Gary Martin 2nd Place with 26.88% and Mickey Gillespie 3rd Place with a 14.38%.. In Class-C, Bryan Spivey1st Place with a 26.88%, Terry Sparks 2nd Place with a 20.63% and Virginia Tolbert 3rd Place with a 8.13.

Everybody really enjoy and had a wonderful time. We hope next year will be a better turn out. The Portsmouth Horseshoe Club would to thank all the pitchers that came down and participated in the tournament and a safe trip back home.
